Vehicles That You Will Be Able To Drive With an HR Licence

If you want to drive heavy vehicles, you will need to get an HR licence. However, you might be wondering about the types of vehicles that you can drive after getting the licence. Here, we will be discussing them to help you prepare well for the exam and choose a vehicle that you find yourself comfortable in.

  • Rigid Vehicles Class 1

After you pass the test and gain an HR licence in Bondi, you will be able to drive class 1 vehicles such as agricultural vehicles, over mass vehicles and special purpose vehicles that are driven to meet specific requirements of people. Generally, these vehicles are used in the primary and the secondary sectors by professionals. But since manoeuvring these heavy vehicles require skills, you will need to pass the test and obtain the licence.

  • Rigid Vehicle Class 2

The second type of heavy vehicle that you will be able to drive after you pass the test and obtain the Bondi HR licence is none other than freight-carrying vehicles.

You can pretty well understand the sheer weight of these vehicles and the precision that you will need to operate the trucks carrying the load. In this instance, you cannot make a simple mistake since it can be damaging to the goods that are being carried.

The vehicles that fall under this category include B-doubles, B-triples and road trains.

  • Class 2 Additional Vehicles

After obtaining the licence, you will be entitled to operate more vehicles such as buses, livestock carriers and buses apart from PBS (performance-based standards) vehicles.

As you can see, these are somewhat different types of vehicles that are used for consumers as well as in the primary sector work. However, since these are heavy vehicles as well, acquiring an HR truck licence in Bondi becomes necessary.

  • Class 3 Vehicles

These are somewhat different vehicles that can be regarded as non-compliant in terms of mass and dimension. These vehicles do not fall in the Class 1 category but are still difficult to manoeuvre due to their weight. Thus, you will require the HR truck licence to drive them anyway.

  • Newer Vehicles Free of Classes

There are newer vehicles that are coming to the market each and every day. These vehicles cannot be categorised under any class. Nevertheless, to drive these vehicles, you will need to have the required Bondi HR truck licence that will permit you to drive these vehicles.

So, these are a few vehicles that you can drive after you have acquired the licence.
